Vincent Van Gogh Kokeshi Doll

A striking reinterpretation of Vincent van Gogh’s “Starry Night,” this kokeshi doll by Lucie Kaas captures the artist’s expressive style and emotional depth. Van Gogh’s swirling brushstrokes, bold blues, and luminous yellows reflect his intense connection to nature and his inner world. Dynamic sky patterns envelop the doll, echoing the movement and energy of the original masterpiece, housed at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, while the kokeshi’s serene form brings balance and tranquility to the composition.
